I picked this bunch of mayweed on the weekend from my sister's little farm, where we had a family Easter gathering. There were lots of autumnal wild things growing in the paddock but this was the prettiest. I did some mayweed embroidery for my shop update today: a small zipped case and a felt pin.

Hope you're having a great week so far.

Lovely, it sure looks like our daisy’s. Nice work in capturing it’s beauty. We have sleet and cold winds. I am longing for summer.

It’s just turning the nice cool and sunny portion of spring here in Portland and I am so inspired by all the flowers popping their heads out of the soil.
I am just enamored with embroidery and fiber art lately and have checked all the books out form the library much to the dismay of the librarian there it seems.
I’m curious to know do you create your own patterns or do you just sit down with lovely thread and start?
