Project 2

Project 3

Project 1

I seem to have so many projects on the go these days, which is how I like it, but it does make rather a mess around the house. So I made myself a couple of these Project Bags to contain some of my knitting and embroidery work, library books to return, etc. They're very simple- just good vintage fabric with denim on the back, soft cotton lining and sturdy recycled leather handles. And just the right size for hanging on the door or over the back of chair, on taking in the car for any knitting opportunity that might present itself.

I also made a couple of these for my etsy shop update today. I hope you have a good Wednesday! If I finish all the jobs I have lined up, I'm going to try to sneak in some rows on a winter scarf I've just started knitting. See you tommorow.

What a great idea! I have tried all sorts of solutions for storing my varied projects. The bag option seems like a good one, thanks for the tip.

I have all of my project bags in use. I have two choices–buy some more bags or finish some projects.

Love them melissa! I also love that frankie peeping out, I might have to treat myself. I too have project bags scattered all over the house, hardly a door handle is bare. I love how easy it is to grab and go out with them.

I LOVE the wildflower cushion you made for the shop – someone is going to SNAP that right up! Great idea putting projects in bags, somehow contains the idea and keeps you mentally organised! I just used my friend Fiona’s lovely tiedyed bag to hold the beginnings of my tax return – ahem! at least it makes it friendlier!! Have good days Cxx

What a wonderful idea! I have so many varied projects on the go and as you say it can be rather messy and I also seem to lose pieces. The bag option seems like a good solution. Thanks for the suggestion

I need to make some more bags for small projects myself
right now I just throw everything I am working on into one large
    very strong bag
when people pick it up and feel the weight they ask

I’m so sad my internet decided to break down just when you were having a giveaway.
Anyway 🙂 the inspiration that waves out from this blog to me is worth more than winning something. Lovely bags, great photo’s of them too.

i love that you’ve done a project to help you control all your projects! I need multiple old style knitting bags, the ones with wooden bits, to control my mountain of not quite finished things ….
    See you on the 12th!
