Needles 1

Needles 2

Needles 3

I've been doing a bit of embroidery today, inspired by bits and bobs from the winter garden. Slowly but surely making some linen needlebooks for my stall at the Auckland Art and Craft Fair. I've been feeling a little reluctant to venture into my sewing room these days – it's much warmer by the fire!

Wishing you a happy and restful weekend.

That lavender one is so gorgeous! I wish I could make it to the fair but unfortunately that’s the first week of term so it’s back to teaching and rehearsals all day for me on a Saturday. Enjoy your days snuggled by the fire, it won’t be long before it’s too warm again.

They are just so pretty. I am a real heat hogger – I can’t bear to be cold. If there is a roaring fire, I will be found next to it, mesmerised, with hot, pink cheeks. Have a lovely weekend.
