Giveaway

Trees2

Cards 2

Hello! Hope you are well today. I thought I might have a little giveaway here because I haven't had one in a while, and it's fun. Also, I turn another year older tomorrow and I always like to give stuff away on my birthday. I have made up two packages to send (to anywhere in the world) and each has a digital print of a collage I made back in the wintertime, a couple of fat quarters from this fabric collection, and a set of watercolour postcards.

For past giveaways, I've suggested leaving a comment telling us about your latest favourite record or film, and I still go back to those posts to find new things to listen to and watch! So if you wouldn't mind doing the same this time, that would be fabulous. What are you enjoying listening to/watching/making?

Thanks for visiting my blog and being generally awesome, lovely readers.

I’ve been listening to Adele’s 21 album so much; in the car, while cleaning, while stitching… Lately, I’ve been crocheting mushrooms!http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/ballee-mushroom
You needn’t include me in the giveaway; I am the very glad keeper of some of your pretty printed fabric and due to your generosity have a beautiful notecard too. Just wanting to comment to share and wish you, “Happy Birthday, Melissa!” 🙂

Happy Birthday to you! What a generous giveaway…I watch Out of Africa at least once every few months–my all-time favorite, but I don’t know if my hubby has made it through without falling asleep once and we’ve been married almost twelve years!!! Listening to my little one’s playing and making some Amish puzzle balls for all the little babes in the family this Christmas. Hope you have a lovely birthday!

I listen to podcasts a lot to get through my workday, and lately have been very much enjoying Radiolab and Stuff You Should Know. Both do a great job of presenting different topics in a way that is appealing to a really wide audience.
As far as working on, I am getting ready for another big update on my Etsy shop–just waiting for my zippers to arrive, hopefully just in time for a crafty weekend. Happy birthday!

A giveaway, how much fun is that? Pretty sweet of you to do on your special day I might add. Being the mom of a 3 1/2 year old, my world of entertainment is generally kid related. So, I would have to say Elizabeth Mitchell always inspires a happy little dance and sing along at our house. I have been reading more and more craft/art books lately. Inner Excavation by Liz Lamoreux and Art Saves by Jenny Doh, are both hugely worth picking up.
Here’s to wishing you a day filled with giggles and happiness. Happy Birthday! 🙂

It makes me feel young again! I am sure I am much older than you, my teenage years are long gone! Happy Birthday for tomorrow – what a lovely idea to give a gift on your birthday – I will have to adopt that trend. I think a movie I could watch again and again is Under the Tuscan Sun. I love your attitude to life and all the gorgeous things you embroider and make. Thank you for your blog, it is very uplifting!
