After I wrote about this great cookbook here the other day, the publishers at Weldon Owen Publishing asked if I'd like to hold a giveaway on my blog for another shiny new copy for one of my readers.

I'd just baked some coconut macaroons (you can see them in my first photo above) and last weekend Tom made a red rice dish and both recipes came from the colourful pages of this book. So we're really enjoying it- you will too!

You can find out more details about the book here, or here on Facebook. They've even made a little video to promote it.

The publishers will send the book to the winner, wherever they happen to live in the world. Just leave a comment on this post telling us what's cooking in your kitchen these days.

I'll draw a winner randomly on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

Beautiful book! I’m not sure that this counts as cooking, but we just got a dehydrator and have been drying just about everything we can think of. Also lots of quick fall soups! Thanks for the chance!

Well you know, it is exam season and my elderly in-laws are unwell so last night it was takeaways for us and omelette with cheese and bacon for them. Ho hum. Actually, light and yummy and when you are unwell it’s so great to have someone else cook for you isn’t it.
So, you can see I would love to win such a cookbook to open and enjoy and USE after exams end next week πŸ˜‰

Sounds like a fun cookbook. I made some pumpkin bread yesterday and risotto today and even though it is autumn and we had a very early snowstorm Scarlet and I discovered a ripe red strawberry in the yard- a tiny miracle that she popped in her mouth straight away.

With autumn in the air I’m baking ginger and chocolate flapjacks and ginger brownies. I bought a plump pheasant from my butcher doubtless acquired from a local shoot, which will be roasted with bacon for Sunday lunch.
