My second little contribution to NZ House and Garden magazine arrived in the post the other day- I wrote about designing your own ceramics. This photo was first used on my blog back here, but if you want to read more about how I made these cups I first wrote about them here and here. I haven't done any of this work in ages- now i feel like breaking out the ceramic ink!

I loved these with all my heart when i saw them in that mag at a cafe, your drawings are beautiful! I’ve op-shopped a couple of suitable cups s but need to sketch out a flowery design of my own. I seem to remember you recommended a certain brand of sharpie pen, but i can’t remember what it was called?

Lovely! I will dust off the ceramic pen – the children and I did this one holidays when you first had it up on your blog. Very sweet saucers they decorated! We have also done it for pen holders as teacher gifts too 🙂
