I found this book at the library the other day: Clothing for Everyday Wear: Stylish Dress Book, by Yoshiko Tsukiori (Laurence King Publishing, 2013). Each page has that beautiful Japanese styling- and the instructions are in English. Would love to get stuck in to a project this weekend (soft wool pants like the ones directly above)… but if there's not time, I will probably just admire the photos.

I was super-excited to find it at the library too – until I looked at the sizes and realised that they were still Japanese sized, so I just admired the lovely photos instead 🙂

How exciting! I have a previous, also gorgeous Stylish Dress Book (one you showed a few years ago that inspired me with much Japanese-dress-envy) but it’s true, instructions in English are such a treat :^) If you don’t get time for actual sewing, I hope you’re able to find some good fabric in your stash!
