Gold 1

Gold 2

Gold 3

When I opened up my package of wool felt the other day (I often buy from here), I'd forgotten about that lovely golden yellow colour I'd ordered. The first thing that came to my mind was a small collection of needlebooks, with this yellow felt as the inside pages. Of course, I can't just make one of anything. Not sure why.

These four needlebooks are hand-embroidered with some of my favourite yellow wildflowers: honeysuckle, tansy, dandelion and daisies.

I agree they are so beautiful and totally frameable.
I love the yellows so much.
I wonder if you will be making any more lockets soon.
They are my daughter’s favorite things to wear around their necks.

One of my favorite colors! The stitching is lovely. (I often can’t be stopped from making more than one of something either.)

I love your stitching and the way it comes together to give a real sense of the flowers you are depicting… I have recently started embroidering, but mine doesn’t look anywhere near this:-). It is addictive though, and I will keep going!

The yellow is just so perfect here!
I was walking down the dark and cold december road today, and oh, i saw one yellow flower (tansy maybe) still hanging on there on the side of the cold road!
And also, i´m planning to make a needlebook for someone as a gift. Now i found just the right inspiration here. Thank you!
