I agree, M, you are such a wonderful mother! It’s pretty much every little girls dream to have a mum that whips up lacey dancing skirts and helps her build huts in which to host little tea parties.
Makes me wish I could come and play too!LikeLike

Becka commented about the mushroom lollies. Are they a confection? They look very much like the morel mushrooms we find in the woods here in Montana. Very cute, anyway!

How pretty your blog looks, I just changed a few things to pink also, a color i normally don’t use.
I love the skirts and they bring me back to when my girls were little and i made the same kind. It’s lucky little girls to have such tender loving mamas as you.
happy new year 🙂LikeLike

hi d.f.
i didn’t use a pattern- rather, i just cut a very wide rectangle of fabric, joined it into a tube, hemmed it and added a waistband casing, then added elastic. it was very easy- give it a go! 🙂LikeLike

thank you leililaloo, i just squeeze in all the things i really want to do, and don’t do lots of things i should do. so that means i’m probably not such a good mum. sorry, i have no idea how to keep all the balls in there air- except to say, maybe don’t try to? x

hi marty, yes they are a kind of confection that i’ve always seen in the supermarket (bulk bin section) but never bought before! they’re a kind of hard marshmallow, with coconut on the outside.
