Purple 1

Purple 2

Purple 3

The quest to keep warm has begun here in earnest with all the winter wool clothing and blankets dragged out of cupboards and from shelves. I sewed Keira a new sweater: purple wool with pink stripes. I cut it from one of my old jumpers. She does love those colours, pink and purple.

Hope you are warm and cosy wherever in the world you might be.

Another beautiful set of photos. It looks very cozy in your part of the world. That sweater is very cute and to think it is from one of your old ones! So cool.

I was wondering too what kind of flowers these were. There beautiful. They do look like Delphiniums indeed but mine are about to bloom now – at the beginning of summer.
Your photos are – as always – so peaceful and beautiful!

Pink and purple are a favourite in our house too. It is getting very cold but at least the rain has cleared.

it finally rained last night so a little cooler we are today because it has been almost two weeks of very warm weather without precipitation. Very unusual for this time of year.

Such a funny thing to read as on this side of the globe we cheerfully welcomed sun and the beach this past weekend. I love the opposites, actually. Keeps me in check, a little bit!

    hi melissa
i saw keira wearing that lovely jersey at school yesterday. her & arlo were playing together in the smallest kids play area, i happened to be walking past & glance over to see her legs wrapped around arlo’s neck, they both were laughing & trying to get keira from A to B on that stretch out & swing arm thing in the 5 year old playground. very very sweet.
ps. they are definitely delphiniums in your photo, such a pretty maueve colour aren’t they.
