Rabbits 1

Rabbits 2

Rabbits 3

I made some velveteen rabbits this week: two are blue and one is black with black and cream polka-dot ears. I love how long and touchable the rabbits' ears are. A few rabbits, and the illustrated cups were the last things i wanted to make for my table at the Auckland Art and Craft Fair tomorrow.

If you plan on coming along, please come and say hi! I've not been to the Auckland Art Gallery before, but am looking forward to it. Especially doing a bit of shopping- it looks like there will be lots of lovely things to buy at the show.

Wishing you a happy and relaxing weekend.

Nice work! I like the little bunny on the teacup. The stuffed rabbits will become special friends for some children. Good luck with the show.

Hi, just popped in to say how nice it was to meet you yesterday and to have my very own needlebook at long last. Hazel and the black bunny have been utterly inseparable since we bought it, like glued to each other. A girl and her bunny, a bunny and its girl kind of thing. We had a party to go to that afternoon and bunny came with us, and was carried around the whole time, pushed in a swing by several little girls, petted, borrowed (begrudgingly) and complimented by the adults. He’s been pushed around in the pram, taken in the car, kissed, cuddled and generally loved to death and is tucked up in bed with her right now. At the moment his (her?) name is ‘Velveteen Bunny’ but not sure if that’s fixed or not. So all-in-all a raging success and she and I couldn’t be more pleased – thanks!
