A bit of serious spring-divining is going on here, I think that's how i can best explain all the flowers I'm documenting on the blog. The amazing furry ones in the top picture are a kind of flannel flower from a friend's garden. They originate from Australia, I think. And the jasmine is from our garden. For my shop update this week, I made a small collection of pleated bags from my old, favourite pattern. I used recycled linen for all of them, except the cotton ticking. The bag in the front is made from old British Sanderson-printed linen. (I secretly long to furnish my house throughout in Sanderson linen.)

    i’m always in love with this bag pattern of yours! i’m still using the ‘tree’ bag i got but sparingly now so i could preserve it. LOve! wish i could buy a new one!

    Ah, spring is almost here and flowers are beginning to bloom. As we are in the process of getting a new fence in our backgarden, all the jasmine that covered the old one has been pulled down. Sadly, it was all about to bloom.

    The top fluffy flowers are so beautiful…almost look like something from the sea.
    I love the smell of jasmine.
    We are about to head into fall here and I am almost welcoming it….one more hot week and I will be happy. Too much rain this summer. Our new house gets much more nicer weather than the area we used to live in though…yeah! :o)
