Your children look so sweet here (I bet they don’t stand still for too long!). Boy, it will be a long time before we have lilacs here in New England. Enjoy them for me please.

I think your blog and photos make me realize that there really is another side of the world. Today, in Belgium, we can really tell summer is ending up… I love autumn and should be excited but this year, summer was so rainy and crappy I have a hard time realizing the trees will be losing their leaves very soon and that the temperature will remain this low (or lower) for the next 6 months… But thanks to you, I remember now that I after all that, lilacs will be blooming again in the spring 😉

Unlike here…it was 4C last night. Aaargh, we’ve had no summer. Again. Definitely autumnal here, which is great by me as long as the flaming rain stops.
What a lovely colour your blossom is.LikeLike

I love experiencing the seasons in reverse through your blog… Here in Chicago summer is winding down. It reminds me that even though my favorite season is ending, it will soon be beginning somewhere else, and here again before we know it. Have a wonderful Spring!

Hi! Just found your lovely blog through my Flickr! I love the things you make and show here! All the flowers and flowery fabric is just up my street! 😉 I’m going to add you to my blog list and come and visit you often! Strange with your Spring stsrting now when here in Sweden it’s Autumn who is knocking on our door! 🙂 From what I understood you’re in New Zealand, right? My absolutely favourite teacher was from New Zealand, and that was in 1st grade, 34 years ago!
