It's cold and somewhat dark and misty outside today, and when I went for a walk around the neighbourhood, I noticed how delicate all the plants and trees looked amongst the grey. As if each leaf and branch was shivering in the half-light.  I made some things for my shop update that i think are rather delicate-looking: antique lace-covered purses and two embroidered pins.

I hope you're having a good day, blog friends. I'm planning on spending the next couple of days making curtains: wish me luck!

By your description, I almost feel like I’m there. I have curtains on my list, too. Might not do them today, but the fabric is pre-washed and ready to go.

It sure sounds like everyone is preparing for winter by warming up those windows to help keep the cold out. I too need to make curtains, but it may wait a month or so.
If you can make all these little treasures, I know you won’t have any problems with curtains. You must show us the finished project though.

    Good luck with the curtains!
Here autumn mist is covering the morning. Pretty beautiful, like lost world (but just for a few hours). Warming my hands around a teacup before starting to paint.
    Happy last day of September!

Oh good luck dear melissa, curtains are my most hated things to sew. They seem so simple but they never turn out how I want them.
