Collecting seeds from the garden. Some to send to friends around the country, and some to keep for next spring. I love the autumn time.

Wishing you a happy weekend, blog friends. Coming up next week: applique without any fancy products, wedding decorations and a miniature tie. Hold on to your hats!

I need to start seed saving this year. How is that book by Eugene Grasset. I have been thinking of ordering it. Chamomile flowers are so pretty. Did you make tea from them?

I love gardening supplies. Especially old ones that are still useful because they were so well made. Those are such beautiful seed packets.

What a good idea. I’ve saved vegetable seeds from last year and the year before – hoping they still ‘work’.

This is just gorgeous – what lovely photos and a great way of storing collected seeds. When my grandfather passed, we gave mourners packets of sunflower seeds that look so simliar to these. Everytime I come across something like this, it just makes my heart think of him and all he meant to me. Thank you so much for this!
