Some things from the weekend that is now over: giant tomatoes from the farmer's market (feet in picture are for scale), a last tangle of sweet peas in the garden, blackcurrant jelly made by J, red geraniums from the front porch. Gorgeous autumnal harvest.

Now I'd better go, because I have a lot of sauce to make. x

i see so much green with your reds
and i am doing very well, thanks for asking.
watching the nature of things, the one ocean series on line and making missing pieces stones.
somehow these two activities seem very harmonious.

I like to see you painting. I painted 7 birds this week. They are posted today if you want a peek.

Good score finding those massive tomatoes, I thought I was sick of preserving but they make me want to drag out the biggest pot and make a batch of something.

Wow! We are just starting tomatoes indoors from seeds in the northern hemispheres. A great photo to have as a goal. 🙂

wow to those tomatoes and I love that plate with the orchids. I’ve never tried blackcurrant jelly but my bush had a grand total of 5 blackcurrants this year. What a great weekend you had!

    looks like a wonderful weekend!
mine was spent at church, soccer game, full day of college, and my favorite pruning overgrown plum trees with my 15 year old son.
spring is coming whether it likes it or not! ;o)
