After I wrote about this great cookbook here the other day, the publishers at Weldon Owen Publishing asked if I'd like to hold a giveaway on my blog for another shiny new copy for one of my readers.

I'd just baked some coconut macaroons (you can see them in my first photo above) and last weekend Tom made a red rice dish and both recipes came from the colourful pages of this book. So we're really enjoying it- you will too!

You can find out more details about the book here, or here on Facebook. They've even made a little video to promote it.

The publishers will send the book to the winner, wherever they happen to live in the world. Just leave a comment on this post telling us what's cooking in your kitchen these days.

I'll draw a winner randomly on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

What a lovely sounding cookbook. And very nice of the publishers to offer the giveaway through your blog.
I love cooking and trying new recipes and would be so thrilled to win a copy of that book. Right now I’m home sick though, so am falling back on a trusty old recipe – homemade chicken and vegie soup! I make it with chicken, potato, sweet potato, pumpkin, carrots, leeks, green beans, swede, herbs picked from my garden, and usually throw in some dried barley or some sort of dried pulses or lentils. It’s a good hearty tasty soup and helps make you feel better when you have a cold.

Autumn is here in all it’s coldness so I’ve been cooking lots of soups lately. Nothing is more comforting in autumn than a bowl of hot vegetable soup with some self made bread. 🙂

Oh, I suscribe to their blog feed and really enjoy the whimsical / fun drawings.
It’s autumn here so I have lots of apples, persimmons and pears, which we usually just eat as they are. I am also starting to make soups, curries and lentil stew to warm us up.
