I got invited to join this flickr group, where members post a mosaic of the work they did in 2011. Turns out I made quite a few things, so here are some of the finished objects from the second half of the year. You can click here to find the flickr links to individual projects. Looks like I had lots of fun, eh?

Happy new week, blog friends.

That’s such a great idea and a great way to keep a record. I often get nostalgic when I see photos of things I’ve made – mostly for the fabrics that I no longer have. Maybe you should do this every year?

I love that despite the diversity (embroidery, sewing, drawing, bookmaking) it’s still very much a cohesive collection. So pretty, so you.

I agree, such a great way to look back at the year. I feel validated when I see the things I have created, even if they are few and far between. I should put photos of them all in one place so that when I see it I get inspired, and feel productive.

It’s pretty cool to see the green teddy bear amongst your photos that is being hugged right now as my little one sleeps…

Late to this, but wanted to say that I absolutely love all of it! And that black bag with the gray-and-white striped pocket has found a very happy home with me. I use it practically every day!
