Happy St. Valentine's Day, friends. I made a wildflower installation for you.

I made my origami heart (to write my valentine's message inside) using these instructions that I found via A.C. and some Japanese paper.

And something romantic: the ending to a very sweet film: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain. I haven't seen this film in a long time, but it was my favourite for many years.

Happy Valentine’s Day! I always feel slightly odd about origami – my Grandma was obsessed with it when we were kids and would buy us books and then try and have us fold increasingly intricate shapes that we had little interest in. However, your heart looks both lovely and pleasant to make.

    Hi Melissa
Just remembered I haven’t finished my box of Valentine Chocolates. Nothing better than lovely chocolate for breakfast plus it’s in the healthy food triangle?
    Off to work now!
    Cheers

Nice heart! Much fancier than the paper I glued onto cardboard for my valentines… Never mind, I’m pretty sure they were all about the chocolate anyway. Love love LOVE Amelie, sweetest film ever.
