It was a warm week. The hydrangeas started to brown. Just a little bit, but still. And I've been reading this book- The History of Love, by Nicole Krauss, which is wonderful.

I just ordered the book from the library. I often try out books and music you’ve recommended, I really like your taste in litterature and rhythm 😉

I had to comment as soon as I saw the book on your bed! I read it over Christmas and I totally agree, just so beautifully written and overall wonderful – enjoy : )

Loving your guinea pigs. How are they going? I am trying to convince my husband to get some for our four year old for Easter. I think he would love them (and I think I would too, I never had them as a child.)
Your hydrangeas are beautiful. I brought my first two plants last year and each flowered with a single bloom. Looking forward to many more. 🙂

hi christina, the guineas are going well- they are still a bit afraid of us but theyve been really easy to keep so far (except when gary escaped last week- it was hard to get him back!). they live in a raised hutch (safe from neighbourhood cats, etc) but while we are at home they run around in a pen on the lawn which they love. they also eat up lots of carrots, corn, watermelon, etc which is great for using up everything in the fridge. they would make a great gift for your 4-yr old, i think. good for kids to learn to care/clean/feed little creatures like these.
