Embroidery- tulips

Teatree

Do the blogs you follow get delivered to your inbox, like your own personal magazine page at the end of the day? A couple of months ago, I signed up with bloglovin', to replace google reader which is now unavailable.

I'm liking it- I've now whittled down the blogs I read quite a lot, for time reasons, but receiving the updated ones in this format is actually quite good as I spend less time clicking away on the internet to check new posts.

If you'd like to follow my blog via bloglovin' you can click here– it's easy to sign up. I know there are a few other platforms out there too- this one is a homage to the old google reader, and there's feedly, which looks quite new.

Wonderful first image! Feedly seems to be working for me, thus far.

Yep, its a good one – I have you already on Bloglovin (and many others that I want to read regularly). Can thoroughly recommend it to anyone wanting to simplify things.

Yes: I’m lovin’ Bloglovin’ too. It keeps my email inbox tidier and its easy to manage.
It also makes me think even more carefully about the image and first 35-or-so words that I use in my own blogs. That precious window can be wasted on a ‘clever’ intro that doesn’t say enough about the actual post. I’m spending a lot of time editing to mail the first impression, but I think its a good discipline anyway.
By the way, are you using some kind of spindles for your embroidery? I like that idea! If you’ve posted about that before, please share the link.

I’m with Bloglovin but mainly use “Dashboard”, thought Blogger might be closing it at the same time as Reader but it is still there. Still it’s good to have ‘belt and braces”.
    Lovely embroidery as always.

    thank you for your message!
you make a good point about the post formatting for bloglovin. i hadnt thought of that.
i was given the embroidery spools by a kind (weaver + dyer) friend a few years ago and theyre great to use for embroidery- i wrote about them here http://tinyhappy.typepad.com/tiny_happy/2008/11/threadelicious.html and here- http://tinyhappy.typepad.com/tiny_happy/2009/03/new-colours.html
