Keira turns nine today. These days: she's kind, always drawing comic strips and reading and writing long stories about kids having adventures. She's a junior conservationist and violin player, rock climber, vegetarian, and really a person who amazes me.
I tried to take a 'birthday portrait' in black and white but it's hard to get her to pose for more than a few minutes. Most of the shots I got document her running away from the camera.
