Spring2

Cushion

It's nearly the end of winter, at least, there are signs all around. The clematis vine on our fence is in flower, and the days are stretching out a little longer. The new light is very welcome.

For some reason, I haven't been feeling inspired to write here, or indeed, to even pull my camera out of its drawer and document the things I've always loved sharing on here.

Hopefully, it's just a seasonal thing, and I'll find the spark again very soon.

Thank you for your interest in my work, and for visiting. I hope this finds you well and happy,

X M

Dear Melissa, hope your resilience has you bouncing back. Some sunshine over Wellington will help too.

hi, nice to see you again. funny how we all get these down times, perhaps yours is just that end of winter feeling and spring will see it off, i hope so.
your photo’s are as ever lovely and the last one a little mystery, that looks just like your embroidery on the cover…..are you teasing us ?

I am craving the sunshine myself. Your bedside table reminds me of mine; a precarious pile of library books.

We are now headed into fall and our light is growing shorter, so I am ready for hot cups of tea and bedside reading. Hope the added sun in your neck of the woods will bring you cheer!

As your winter ends, our fall season approaches…and what a relief that will be! My bedside table (almost any available table) is always a repository of books, and I love seeing books in stacks or on couches. 🙂

Howdy do, from the deep and currently very gloomy South of the South Island – chins up lovey, as you can see, you bring a little oasis to many. I CAN NOT WAIT for sunny days. It has been such a long, cold winter. Looking forward to seeing what you are up to. Creativity has to be by proxy for me right now, as I have loaned my sewing machine to a young friend who is unable to attend school due to bullying, as is waiting to turn 16 to enrol as an adult student with the Correspondence School. Apparently the list for up to 15 year olds is huge. She is having a ball, and it is keeping her occupied and off the computer!

We are preparing for Autumn here. I see the wheat fields are getting harvested. I look forward for cooler days. It has been hot, now we moved even closer to Canada so it will be fun to see how cold and snowy Winter gets here. Please share photos of your city, ocean and everything around you that you may find that can be shared. I do appreciate it very much. May your days be full of light and happiness!
